Participants can learn about the following programs: RTA fixed-route service, RTA Connect On-Demand, RTA Senior EZ Ride, Connection to the MetroParks, and more.
The event on the Square will also give participants a chance to show the RTA where they want to see future transportation in the Dayton region with the RTA’s “What Drives You” campaign preview. Laura Jones will share her experience as production manager for four years on Art21, a PBS documentary series. Currently, Laura Jones is a writer and English professor residing in Springboro, Ohio. Art21 focuses on visual contemporary art and artists in the twenty-first century and has won the prestigious Peabody Award. At the core of who we are as Americans is our love of country and family. From the border to our neighborhoods, we must not only ask "where are the children" but how we as nation stand up against a government forcibly breaking up families. Hosted by DIFA, OFA and Dayton Women's Rights Alliance, this rally is going to be a sister rally to a larger one in DC.
