June is PRIDE Month, and to celebrate Dayton Metro Library is offering many programs that give patrons of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies of all ages the opportunity to show their PRIDE support. Find out more »Daytonians and the Holocaust: The View from Here Main Library, Eichelberger Forum Monday, June 5, 7-8 pm Marshall Weiss, an author and historian, explores Dayton-area responses, actions, and inactions connected to Nazi Germany and the Holocaust. This includes stories of how Dayton’s Jewish and German immigrant communities interacted, a discussion of how local news stories provided coverage, German American Bund activities in Dayton, and how Jewish individuals and organization attempted to rescue Jews from Nazi Europe.
