The Entrepreneurs Connection Will Offer Education Events, Coworking Space

Mike Colvin Fast Facts

Tae Winston, Owner of The Entrepreneurs Connection at 200 Wayne Ave., recently announced that the business will be reorganized to increase business edcuational events and offerings for entrpreneurs and startups, as well as provide coworking space. Winston told the Dayton Business Journal that The Entrpreneurs Connection always was designed to be a learning center, but initially became more focused on retail and local boutique sales. While the business still will have a small space for vendors to sell products, plans now are to shift the focus to coworking and education. To that end, workstations have been added – each equipped with laptops and free WiFi – along with private office and podcasting spaces with access to audiovisual equipment. A lineup of classes and speakers geared toward those starting or growing businesses also is planned – more information on those is available at daytonpowerhouse.com. Daily and monthly memberships ranging from $5 to $40 are available, and The Entrepreneurs Connection plans to be open Wednesday through Sundays, 24 hours a day.
