A new downtown shoe retailer is planning a grand opening celebration this week. Sole Touchers will hold a ribbon cutting at the Shops at St. Clair Lofts on Friday, April 15, and an open house on Saturday, April 16. Owners Keon McCarroll and Shanti Sancho hosted a soft opening for the store in early February. The shoe boutique features new and gently used shoes as well as items from other local vendors. Shop inventory ranges from high-end brands to shoes sourced from local thrift shops and outlets. Sole Touchers currently specializes in men’s and women’s shoes but eventually plans to expand to more age groups. The shop is located at 37 S. St. Clair St. at St. Clair Lofts and will be open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
