Sinclair Program Helps to Meet Nursing Demand

Mike Colvin Fast Facts

A new nursing completion program at Sinclair College is expected to begin in just over a year. Sinclair will offer a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) starting in January of 2024. Leaders of the college say the program will allow nursing students to get critical education at a lower cost. “The BSN completion program at Sinclair will allow nurses who graduated with an associate degree in nursing to take their career to the next step without leaving the workforce or taking on unnecessary debt.” Steve Johnson, president of Sinclair College, tells the Dayton Business Journal. All courses in the hybrid program will be available online with the option of in-person labs on campus. More than 6,000 students have graduated from Sinclair’s nursing program since its creation in 1969.
