The outdoor season in the Oregon District officially kicks off this weekend. The Out on 5th program will be back in action every weekend starting today – Thursday, April 14. Fifth Street in the Oregon District will close to vehicular traffic Friday afternoons through Sunday nights while the Out on 5th season is underway. The launch weekend is beginning one day early this week due to the Easter holiday. Tables and chairs will be set up on the sidewalks and in the street to allow more seating room for visitors. Parking for Out on 5th is available in nearby lots, garages, and public street parking spaces, but the Oregon District Business Association kindly asks that visitors do not park in the Oregon District neighborhood.
