Out on 5th – the street closure on Fifth Street in the Oregon District from Patterson Boulevard to Wayne Avenue every Friday through Sunday – has returned and will host a grand opening this weekend, starting at 5 p.m. on April 2. The street closure allows for more room for Oregon District businesses to expand onto sidewalks and in the street with patios and outdoor sales, and includes entertainment for guests. This Saturday, a special Downtown Dayton Sidewalk Sale is taking place at businesses across downtown Dayton, including within the Oregon District. The Sidewalk Sale features expanded brick and mortar storefront on the sidewalks, local artisan vendors with booths, free activities and entertainment and special promotions and discounts from downtown businesses.
