Corner Kitchen, a popular restaurant that closed during to the pandemic, will re-open under new ownership later this month. The new owners of the restaurant announced in a Facebook post that they plan to hold a grand opening event on Friday, Feb. 18, with two soft opening preview dinners planned for Saturday, Feb. 12, and Monday, Feb. 14. The post goes on to mention a newly renovated bistro space and a new aesthetic. Reservations are available online for both preview dinners. Once open, the restaurant will offer dinner service Wednesdays through Saturdays with a late night bar menu available on Fridays and Saturdays. Corner Kitchen originally opened in 2015, but closed in 2020 after facing economic strain during the statewide coronavirus shutdowns. Corner Kitchen is located at 613 E. Fifth St. in the Oregon District.
