I’m Laura Belle of Square One. Square One Salon and Spa was opened in 1999 by Brent Johnson, Doug Henderson, and Josh Stucky. At Square One, we strive to provide top-notch service with our haircuts and spa treatments. There is also more to the salon than making people look and feel good – Square One has a focus on community involvement. With over 20 years serving the Dayton and Columbus areas, we strive to provide a salon and spa not just as a place of business but an environment for enjoying and sharing.
What do you enjoy about working in downtown Dayton?
We are Dayton proud! We love the community and watching the growth and culture that is in Dayton. Dayton is our home, and we love being a part of the Dayton community!
Tell us something about your business that may surprise people to learn.
Our company is open to people who have been with us for a long time becoming owners of the salon and spa. We currently have five employees who are partners with us in two of our locations.
How is your business coping with the pandemic and how can people support you now?
We are so very grateful for our employees and how they have stepped up during this challenging time. They have embraced all the changes and have remained positive and diligent with the safety of their guests. We would like everyone to feel safe coming into any of our locations to help support our team!
