A new locally and femme-owned piercing shop will open this week in the Oregon District. Golden Hour Piercings will officially open at 411 E. Fifth Street on Tuesday, October 4. The shop is owned by Daytonians, Olivia Hatton and Taylor Diamond-Baker, and will be the area’s first private studio to focus exclusively on piercing services and jewelry. A ribbon-cutting celebration is planned for noon this Friday, October 7, and the public is invited to see the space and available products. Once open, Golden Hour Piercings will have regular business hours of noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Appointments are highly encouraged and can be made through the studio’s Facebook or Instagram pages.
