New Bar with Familiar Owner Now Open in the Oregon District

There’s a new spot for craft cocktails and more on Fifth Street. NextDoor has officially opened at 454 E. Fifth Street. The bar’s owner, Austin Smith, is no stranger to the Oregon District. Smith owns both Ned Peppers and Hole in the Wall located just across the street from his newest venture. NextDoor began its soft opening phase in early March and plans to continue that phase over the next few weeks. Smith tells Dayton.com that work is underway to have the upper-level patio bar open this summer. The bar is open 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
