Mike Colvin Fast Facts

A kitchen incubator currently in development at the Dayton Arcade has been awarded $750,000 of Dayton’s COVID-19 relief funds. The Dayton City Commission approved the funds for OH Taste, the group behind the 6888 Kitchen Incubator. The incubator will be located at 32 S. Ludlow Street and will include commercial kitchen space, storage, and baking facilities. Educational programs and resources will also be available to local food-based business owners. Leaders of the collaborative project say the city’s contribution will help them purchase necessary cooking equipment and appliances for the commercial kitchen. The City of Dayton received around $1.4 million in COVID-19 relief funds which will be split amongst several groups and projects.
