Local Online Shoe Retailer Announces Downtown Storefront

Mike Colvin Fast Facts

Sole Touchers, a shoe retailer originally operating mostly online, is opening its first brick-and-mortar shop downtown. Owners Keon McCarroll and Shanti Sancho plan to hold a soft opening for the store from 3 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 11. Sole Touchers will feature new and gently used shoes in addition to items from other local vendors. McCarroll tells the Dayton Business Journal that the main focus of the business is on affordability and offering a wide variety of inventory to cater to customers. Many of the shoes for sale are high-end brands while others are sourced from local thrift shops and outlets. Sole Touchers specializes in men’s and women’s shoes with plans to eventually expand to all age groups. The shop is located at 37 S. St. Clair St. at St. Clair Lofts and will be open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
