Weyland Ventures, based in Louisville, Kentucky, has been hard at work in redevelopment projects in Dayton in recent years and has just purchased an additional property in the Oregon East district downtown. The City of Dayton approved the sale of two vacant buildings at 101 Bainbridge St. to the company. Official plans for the building have not been revealed, but other Weyland projects in Oregon East include the completed mixed-use Wheelhouse Lofts building and the Dayton Motor Car building, which is currently under construction. Weyland has previously announced future phase two of the Oregon East development includes plans for a parking garage, hotel, entertainment venue, and apartments.
