Fast Facts: Wagtown Dog Trail Connects Downtown Locations

Mike Colvin Fast Facts

A local organization with a mission to make Dayton more dog friendly recently completed a new 2-mile dog trail in downtown Dayton. You can spot the trail by following the large paw prints painted on sidewalks through the Oregon District, down St. Clair Street and through the Water Street and Webster Station districts of downtown. The Wagtown trail offers dog lovers easy access to supplies, resting places, and spaces to relax with their pooches while connecting with the downtown business community. The trail was designed with the hopes to foster walkability and social experiences, encourage healthy lifestyles, encourage responsible dog ownership behavior, and promote humane lifestyles in the area.
