A new program from Montgomery County Workforce Development and the Greater Dayton RTA offers free monthly bus passes to people receiving unemployment insurance benefits. Anyone who is receiving the benefits can qualify for a free monthly pass using Tapp Pay, the RTA’s mobile fare system, but must apply for the passes by contacting Montgomery County’s Business Services at (937) 225-5627 or by filling out an online form at bit.ly/FreeBusPass. The passes will be available through Dec. 31, 2020.
