RiverScape MetroPark will welcome visitors to skate on the ice rink this year with extra safety and health precautions in place. The 2020-2021 season will begin on Friday, Nov. 27, and run through Sunday, Feb. 28. Some of the new safety measures put in place by park staff include: A limited number of people will be allowed to skate at a time; visitors must register online for a specific time and pay in advance for 90 minutes on the ice for a flat fee of $8, including for those with their own skates; season passes are not available; and The RiverScape Cafe will be open with a limited menu that will include hot chocolate.
