Fast Facts: Oregon District Businesses Sharing Projects during Shutdown

Although many Oregon District businesses have temporarily closed during the COVID-19 mandated shutdown, it does not mean there isn’t activity going on behind their doors. At the Van Buren Room, the cocktail lounge inside of the Belle of Dayton distillery, owners have been busy building the wooden seating of the bar’s planned outdoor patio. A Dayton.com article about the construction created buzz around the “dream” of patio drinks when the coronavirus shutdown is lifted.

Reza’s Roast on Wayne Avenue has been sharing its “Project Move the Roaster” construction updates on Reza’s social media pages. The owners of the coffee shop, which opened downtown last June, have been working to move their large coffee roaster to the downtown location from Fairborn.
