The newest location of the local coffee chain, Winans, will open downtown on Monday, January 13, at 216 N. Patterson Blvd., in the ground floor of the Ballpark Village of the CareSource campus on the corner of Patterson and Monument. The coffee shop will be open 7 days a week and will also serve a variety of teas, chocolates, and wines.
The new shop occupies 1,600 square feet of storefront, located close to RiverScape MetroPark and Fifth Third Field, and will employ between 6 and 10 people. Hours at the store will be 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday; 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. The Piqua-based Winans chain has more than a dozen stores in the Dayton region, and throughout the state in Wapakoneta and the Columbus area.
