Self-guided Walking Tours
New murals are popping up all over downtown, and now a new interactive map will help visitors experience all the murals and public art installations on a self-guided tour. The Downtown Dayton Partnership has launched a self-guided public art walking tour using the Avenza mobile app. Download the app (available on iPhone and Android platforms), and search for “Dayton” to find the public art map, along with the Coffee Crawl and Brewery and Distillery walking tours launched earlier this year. Have an idea for downtown’s next amazing mural? The DDP and The Contemporary have opened the call for entries for a new mural to beautify a city parking garage. The deadline to apply is September 16.
