Downtown Dayton welcomed a funky new museum to its lineup of amenities. Funk Music Hall of Fame & Exhibition Center will call 113 E. Third St. in the Fire Blocks District its new home. Currently, the exhibit is open by appointment only; however, the organizers plan to host a grand opening this first quarter of 2018. The space will feature clothing, instruments, records, and other items gleaned from iconic funk bands like The Ohio Players, Zapp, Slave, Heatwave, and others.
