Mike Colvin Fast Facts

Local nonprofit Wagtown Inc. received a $5,000 mini grant from the City of Dayton to create the first walking trail of its kind in the country. The 2-mile dog trail loop will connect the Webster Station area to the Oregon District, promoting pedestrian and pet mobility. The trail will include several “Barking Spots” that will include public art installations, places for people and pets to rest, and pet waste disposal stations. Wagtown will host a dog-friendly kickoff event from 1 to 4 p.m. July 20 at the Troll Pub.
