A family-owned restaurant specializing in northern Indian dishes has secured a new location in downtown Dayton. Owners of Gulzar’s, which currently operate a restaurant in Richmond, Indiana, told the Dayton Daily News that they have been eyeing Dayton for several years. Their next location will be in CareSource’s Ballpark Village building on Patterson Boulevard, with plans for the space to include a patio overlooking Day Air Ballpark. Gulzar’s will be neighbors with the downtown Winans location and the planned Flyboy’s Deli. The restaurant will feature a lunch buffet and fine dining in the evening. A proposed opening date has not been announced, but you can see examples of their cuisine on their website here.
