The Ohio Historic Tax Credit program awarded The Fidelity Medical Building at 211 S. Main St. $4.4 million in state historic tax credits. Fidelity Development Group says the 126,000-square-foot building will be transformed into 94 market-rate residential units, with retail space on the first floor. The entire project is estimated at $22 million. So far, the project has raised more than $12 million in private financing and has been awarded $3.3 million in federal historic preservation tax credits.
