Congratulations to Dayton Dragons president and general manager Robert Murphy! Murphy was recently selected by Ballpark Digest as its 2019 Baseball Executive of the Year. The award considers executives from all professional baseball leagues when making its selection. “When all is said and done, our organization’s success results from an amazing group of people executing at high levels,” said Murphy. “I could not be more proud or more blessed to work with this group.” The Dragons finished the 2019 season just 15 games shy of 1,400 consecutive sellouts, extending their record among all professional sports teams.
