The downtown location of a popular national fast food chain is undergoing some significant renovations. Regular patrons of the downtown Dayton McDonald’s likely have noticed major changes taking place in recent days, with the restaurant at 410 S. Main St. temporarily closed and torn down to just the main structural elements to make way for a new, more modern look and enhanced functionality. The new McDonald’s is slated to open in mid-October, featuring a complete interior and exterior redesign, including double drive-thrus, digital menu boards, touch screen kiosks, and more.
