If you loved watching the television program “Cash Cab,” then the Greater Dayton RTA has a fun night of trivia and entertainment for you aboard The Flyer on Friday, March 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Greater Dayton RTA will host a night of trivia with a “Cash Cab” experience where riders can win prizes while they ride to or from downtown destinations aboard The Flyer circulator route. During that two-hour window, The Flyer shuttles will have a trivia host on board. Customers can hop on the free Flyer bus at any Flyer stop to play trivia. The rounds of trivia will be fast and fun, allowing riders to enjoy the event in the time it takes to ride to their First Friday dining, shopping or entertainment destinations.
This event will run in coordination with the Downtown Dayton Partnership’s March “First Friday” outing, where all are encouraged to get out and enjoy the restaurants, bars, local music, shopping and entertainment options available all within downtown Dayton. The Flyer trivia host will ask questions for a shot at winning prizes, which will range from small items to gift cards to downtown businesses for harder questions.
After trivia, the Flyer will continue to take First Friday revelers to and from their destinations until 11 p.m. This service, offered 6 days a week, is free, connecting dozens of locations between RiverScape MetroPark and the University of Dayton campus. An interactive map of The Flyer route can be found at www.iriderta.org/TheFlyer to plan your route. You can also download the free Transit app to find out when the next Flyer shuttle will arrive at your stop.
