As we begin to safely resume gathering and rediscovering all the great things downtown has to offer, we’re especially excited to get back to all the fun events we’ve missed so much!

The Nightmare Before Christmas with Cherry Lee & Friends

On Friday, December 13th Dayton’s own Cherry Lee and the Hot Rod Hounds will perform at Yellow Cab Tavern with support from Noah and the Rescue Radio and The G-Thang. The cover charge and music begin at 8:00pm. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door.
“Friday the 13th in December? It’s literally The Nightmare Before Christmas,” said Brian Hoeflich of Cherry Lee and the Hot Rod Hounds. “Fortunately, the only thing to fear is having your socks rocked right off.”
Cherry Lee and the Hot Rod Hounds have been Dayton’s Rockabilly powerhouse act for eight years with influences such as Wanda Jackson and Johnny Cash. Noah and the Rescue Radio is blues guitar virtuoso Noah Wotherspoon’s project covering a wide range of musical styles from alternative to psychedelia. The G-Thang features three veteran musicians coming together to create roots, rock, and reggae that’s all about positivity.
“This is the perfect opportunity to let loose, get spooky, and have some fun before the year’s end,” Hoeflich continued. “Throw on your weirdest outfit and join us for some great rock & roll on Friday the 13th! You can even dress up like Jason Voorhees if you like, but that’s a little on the nose. I mean, don’t you think?”
Cherry Lee and the Hot Rod Hounds, Noah and the Rescue Radio, and The G-Thang will perform at Yellow Cab Tavern on Friday, December 13th at 8:00pm. The Pizza Bandit will serve pizza by-the-slice throughout the event. Advance tickets are available at https://www.soundvalleydayton.com/events/the-nightmare-before-christmas-featuring-cherry-lee-and-friends for $7.00. Tickets will be $10 at the door on the night of the event. Costume are encouraged.
