Dayton Metro Library will host a free Record Sealing Legal Help Clinic at the Main Library on Friday, March 25, from 1- 5 pm. Advanced registration will be required.
Volunteers from various outlets around the county will be on hand to answer questions: the Dayton Municipal Court, the Montgomery County Office of Reentry, the Montgomery County Law Office of the Public Defender, the Kettering Municipal Court, the Montgomery Clerk of Courts, and the Greater Dayton Volunteer Lawyer Project.
According to Jacqueline Gazda, Information Services Librarian at the Main Library, “Such clinics at the Library can be useful because the court system can be confusing. The Library offers a comfortable and familiar space for patrons to get help with pressing questions they have.”
To attend the Record Sealing Legal Help Clinic session on March 25, visit www.picktime.com/DMLLegalClinics to register and a select a time slot.
