Opening Day for Trails (Opening Day) is the national kickoff celebration for the spring trail season. Started by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy in 2013, Opening Day encourages people to get outside and celebrate America’s exceptional trails and trail systems. To make this year’s celebration extra special, participants will have the opportunity to take a swing at winning awesome trail gear courtesy of Opening Day’s sponsors and partners: Wheel & Sprocket, KEEN, adidas, Hydro Flask, Patagonia, Topo Designs and Niantic. Learn more about Opening Day and how to enter at: railstotrails.org/openingday.
You can learn more about how Trails Transform Ohio—and the rest of the country—at railstotrails.org/trailstransform, and ask your state elected officials to join the Ohio Legislative Trails Caucus, a bipartisan group of legislators working to connect Ohioans by building trail networks across the Buckeye State, via railstotrails.org/ohcaucus.
