As we begin to safely resume gathering and rediscovering all the great things downtown has to offer, we’re especially excited to get back to all the fun events we’ve missed so much!
There’s always something fun going on downtown! Below you’ll find a list of events scheduled for today. Use the filters at the top to find events by date, keyword, and more. You can also view the calendar by month or as a list of 20 events at a time.

Genuine Work is hosting the city-wide Juneteenth Celebration, open to the public to enjoy an afternoon full of family-friendly festivities such as face painting, games, and different black-owned food trucks offering a selection of bites & treats guaranteed to satisfy the sweet tooth or savory seeker, and local organizations and businesses coming together to showcase the best Dayton has to offer!
Find a new favorite food truck, wellness product, art piece, and service provider all while celebrating progress!

With the Juneteenth celebration, Genuine Work and our partners seek to highlight the success of the Black and Brown community, particularly the triumphs of minority-owned businesses within Dayton.
As champions of equality, Genuine Work, Oregon District Business Association, TrepHouse, and the Northwest Dayton Partnership hope to connect the larger Dayton community to some of the thriving small businesses and entrepreneurs integral to the fabric of western Ohio.
