Country musicians Joe Diffie and Sam Grow will perform at Dayton Masonic Live on Saturday, January 11th beginning at 7:00pm. Best known for songs such as “John Deere Green,” “Pickup Man,” “Home,” and “If The Devil Danced (In Empty Pockets),” Diffie is an award-winning musician with decades of stage and studio experience.
Diffie has released seven full-length albums since signing with Epic Nashville in 1990. His musical stylings range from heartfelt ballads to more light-hearted and humorous tunes. Diffie’s name is also synonymous with charitable giving amongst country music fans. A portion of proceeds from Saturday’s performance will benefit Pink Ribbon Girls, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting breast and gynecological cancer patients and their families.
Maryland’s Sam Grow is a multi-instrumentalist who takes inspiration from various musical styles. Grow’s sound is often described as soulful, as his influences include Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, and The Righteous Brothers. Grow’s 2019 album “Love and Whiskey Deluxe” is available for download. His performance with Diffie is part of Grow’s current “Whiskey Don’t Freeze” tour.
