Following the success of the first “Trivia Night on The Flyer” in March, the Greater Dayton RTA has another night of trivia and games planned aboard The Flyer on Friday, June 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The RTA will host a night of trivia with a “Cash Cab” experience where riders can win prizes playing games and answering questions while they ride to or from downtown destinations on The Flyer circulator route. The trivia will include Dayton-themed questions, and this time other fun, quick games will be played between rounds of trivia. Customers can hop on the free Flyer bus at any Flyer stop to play along in the Game Night. The rounds of trivia and games will be fast and fun, allowing riders to enjoy the event in the time it takes to ride to their First Friday dining, shopping or entertainment destinations.
This event will run in coordination with the Downtown Dayton Partnership’s June “First Friday” outing, where all are encouraged to get out and enjoy the restaurants, bars, local music, shopping and entertainment options available all within downtown Dayton. The Flyer Game Night hosts will ask questions for a shot at winning prizes, which will range from small items to gift cards to downtown businesses for harder questions.
After Game Night, The Flyer will continue to take First Friday revelers to and from their destinations until 11 p.m. This service, offered 6 days a week, is free, connecting dozens of locations between RiverScape MetroPark and the University of Dayton campus. An interactive map of The Flyer route can be found at www.iriderta.org/TheFlyer . You Can also download the free Transit app to find out when the next Flyer shuttle will arrive at your stop.
