Celebrate the Dayton Art Institute’s Centennial! Our Century: Dayton Area Collects brings together works from private art collections in the Dayton area, shown alongside significant and promised gifts to the DAI. Featuring a diverse range of objects, the exhibition looks at the important role collectors have played in helping to grow the DAI, through the past century and into the next.
In conjunction with this Special Exhibition, be sure to also see the Focus Exhibition In the Company of Friends, which highlights how gifts from Jefferson Patterson and Virginia Kettering helped shape the DAI’s Asian collection.
Our Century: Dayton Area Collects is organized by the Dayton Art Institute, and the DAI is the sole venue for this exhibition!
