Women in the United States officially gained the right to vote in 1920, but Ohio ratified the 19th Amendment in June of 1919. That makes this month the 100th anniversary of Ohio’s ratification of women’s right to vote! Dayton Metro Library celebrates this monumental achievement with two fascinating exhibits at the Main Library, 215 E. Third Street. The exhibits are on display during regular library hours and are free and open to the public.
