Dayton Arcade Enters Second Phase of Redevelopment

Construction on the North Arcade portion of the Dayton Arcade is officially underway. Developers behind the massive redevelopment project recently secured $41M to begin work on the latest phase of its transformation. Once complete, the Third Street Arcade and Gibbons Annex will host a new hotel and enough space for up to 15 local businesses.

“Bringing the Dayton Arcade back to life has been a monumental task that’s required numerous partners and components,” Dayton Mayor Jeffrey Mims Jr. tells the Dayton Daily News. “The Arcade is truly a one-of-its kind innovation center that will drive future investment downtown.”

Gather by Ghostlight, Est! Est!! Est!!! Italian restaurant, Table 33, and the 6888 Kitchen Incubator are all expected to open in the previously redeveloped portion of the Dayton Arcade later this year. Construction on the North Arcade is expected to last through mid-2024
