This week, a new business will open its doors in downtown Dayton – Beaunique Boutique at 29 W. First Street will celebrate its grand opening this Saturday, Aug. 28, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festivities will include closing the street for a fashion show, a live DJ, and more than 20 local artisan and business vendors joining Beaunique Boutique in downtown Dayton. Brooke Mobley is the owner of the boutique and said opening her own shop is fulfilling her dream of being an entrepreneur. Beaunique Boutique is a women’s clothing store, and Mobely said the store will be a way for her to share her creative ideas and passion for fashion with the community. “Entrepreneurship and making a difference in my community runs in my family,” Mobely said. The downtown location for the boutique fit in with the right space, location and convenience that Mobely was looking for her customers. The store hours will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays; and customers call the store for private style appointments.
