Fast Facts: YWCA to Begin Renovation of Historical Building

The downtown YWCA announced it will begin construction on its $17 million renovation project next month. Once renovations are complete, the historical, 104-year-old building at 141 W. Third St. will grow to 65 updated permanent supportive housing apartments, as well as a fully renovated domestic violence shelter with 45 beds. YWCA Dayton provides affordable housing and housing-related services for women and families at risk of homelessness, as well as victims of domestic violence.
